Latest Update

Did my typical routine this AM with surprisingly good results! You know my routine is .5 mile warm up, 1 mile run and .5 mile cool down. This morning I ran the timed mile in 11:45!! I was shocked! I am still at an average 13 minute mile pace over the whole workout (mostly because I am still asleep for the warm up!), but I think that increasing the distance i.e. running 3.1 miles on Monday has helped me do better when I "go short"! Anyway... this running thing is pretty cool, I suppose! :) I am looking forward to going longer and getting faster! I mapped out a couple different tracks of varied distances from the church yesterday so I can do my runs from there while the kids are at school... at least on some days. Run April, Run! And you too, Lauren! Anyone heard from Anna lately?! ;)
