ok, so i never ran after eating at palmetto pig. I didn't run Sunday. I was about to run yesterday, but got invited to Cici's pizza and went there. Thanks, Lauren! and Laura and Meredith. I wish I didn't need community so much. We did do a little Dance Dance Revolution but I definitely didn't do enough. Oh well, hopefully today is the day. I hope it stays as cool outside as it was a little while ago. It was nice.
So moving on, I'm posting links to the Family Funfest or whatever its called on Labor Day. I'm a little peeved at 89.7 WMHK for not really sending the promo e-mails out sooner. We've missed all the discounts for this 5k run/walk. We could register for the 5k walk just to start getting a feel for these things, but it will still be $25. I don't know how ya'll feel about it. I should be game if anyone else is. Even if we decide against the 5k, take a look around the site, there looks like there maybe some cool stuff to do later on in the day if anyone is interested in that. I think it would be a good way to see where everybody is "at." That being said, I don't know if I am going to be in town on the 3rd because we may be going home ... but we'll see! I would like to if I'm here, and April it's only $20 if you postmark by the Sept 2nd! So see, there is a discount :)

My coworker Michelle is running this weekend in a mini-triathlon called the Super Sprint up in Anderson:
2 mile run, 200 yd swim, 6 mile bike ride
Doesn't that sound like the most fun?
Oh yeah, and I will totally run with you April this labor day. An extra $5 never hurt anyone -- and later on that day is a $1 hot dog dinner, so who are we to complain? ;-)
